Rana S. Mookherjee

Rana S. Mookerjee is the Founder and Managing Partner of Stochastic Capital LLC, a structured finance firm specializing in providing scalable debt capital for technology-forward, early-stage, fintech and finance companies with high-quality assets.

Rana has deep domain expertise in structuring appropriate capital for cash flowing assets. Rana has completed securitizations of several "first-time" issuances of esoteric classes including the first: collateralized structured note with mortgage-backed IO/POs, tenant-lease securitization of a property in the City of London, drug royalty securitization (for Taxol and Neupogen), "right-to-use" timeshare securitization, amongst others.

Prior to founding Stochastic Capital, Rana held senior roles at Funding Circle and Hambrecht & Quist (now JPMorgan). 

Rana began his career at Morgan Stanley in New York City and Los Angeles, Credit Suisse in Tokyo and New York City and JP where he originated and structured public and private securitized transactions across various asset classes. Rana holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics and Operations Research from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Ali Moosvi

Ali Moosvi is X at Stochastic Capital LLC, where he leverages his extensive expertise in credit risk, underwriting, and financial modelling. Concurrently, Ali is the Director of Risk at FundThrough, a fintech enterprise dedicated to providing invoice financing solutions for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). With a strong foundation in the practical applications of financial technology, Ali has held influential senior positions at companies like Flowcast/Tillful, where he crafted and implemented risk policies, developed risk models, and introduced cutting-edge credit products to the market. His proficiency in applying quantitative methods is instrumental in guiding strategic decisions and boosting operational efficiency within the fintech industry. Ali holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Nuclear Engineering from Ontario Tech University.
